This year, InfoCamp Seattle returns to its roots. We are amazed at the support and energy InfoCamp Seattle has received, as demonstrated by last years record attendance. We hope to keep that energy high as we embrace the InfoCamp tradition of constant reinvention. This year we will be scaling down a bit and going back to basics.
We’re anticipating an event that will tend toward being more informal, fluid and dynamic. We hope to see people breaking out markers and whiteboards, as much as using projectors and maybe even run, jump and crawl through an InfoObstacle Course too. We will be recombining tried and true structures along with fresh new ideas that drive towards encouraging engagement and collaboration. As always, it will be you, the participant, talking amongst yourselves, diving the content of InfoCamp.
We intend to announce the venue and date for InfoCamp Seattle 2011 shortly. Until then, we’ll just drop some hints. The event will happen before the newly established date of the rapture somewhere in the Seattle area. The venue has not hosted InfoCamp before. We’re also hoping to make use of some picturesque outdoor spaces should the weather prove clement.
And we make this solemn promise to you: there will be fewer cookies.
But the same ridiculous quantities of coffee!
So, you’re asking yourself: What can I do to help? Well, I’m glad you asked. WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! Leave a comment about what you want to see happen at this year’s InfoCamp Seattle 2011 – you make this event the success it is, and we want to make you happy!
